Description

A telephone connection and a Cat 5 Ethernet data socket share a single plate, held behind a screwless cover in dark brown. The plate is 88mm square, with the apertures set side by side so a phone lead and a network patch lead can land in the same place rather than on separate plates. The moulding is a deep, warm brown with a low sheen, closer to bitter chocolate than black, and the clip-on front leaves no fixing heads on show.

We would fit this at a desk in a home office or study, where a computer wants a wired connection and the landline needs somewhere to terminate. It suits the corner of a living room where the router sits, a hallway table, or a bedroom used part time for work.
