Description

This is a switched double socket with a screwless front plate, so the face reads as one clean panel with no screw heads on show. The finish is a textured carbon fibre weave, dark and close grained, with chrome detail. Each of the two sockets has its own rocker switch and is rated at 13A for everyday household appliances. The texture catches the light differently to a flat painted plate, and much of the appeal is in that.

We reach for this one in rooms with a darker scheme, where a white plate would jump out of the wall: media walls, home offices, studies and workshops. It earns its place behind a desk, where a monitor and a charger can be switched off independently at the end of the day, and it works just as well in a kitchen against a dark splashback or a run of graphite units.
