The Knightsbridge 2-gang blanking plate covers unused or redundant electrical back boxes behind a brushed chrome faceplate with a square-edge profile. The plate measures 149.3mm wide by 89mm high and projects 10.5mm from the wall once installed, providing a flush finish that sits level with adjacent sockets or switches in the same range.

Designed for use where electrical boxes remain in place after rewiring or room layout changes, the blanking plate fits standard 2-gang UK back boxes with a minimum depth of 25mm. The built-in gasket compresses against the back box rim during installation, creating a draught seal and helping to prevent dust ingress. Two fixing screws secure the plate to the back box lugs, and an earth terminal connects the metal faceplate to the circuit earth for safety compliance.
