The Knightsbridge FPR9940PCW is a 13A 2-gang SP switched socket with one USB-A and one USB-C charging port, built into an ultra-low profile flat plate design. The polished chrome faceplate sits just 2.5mm proud of the wall surface, with a white insert behind the outlet apertures and a built-in gasket that seals the plate to the wall without requiring additional finishing. The USB ports share a 5V DC 4.0A output, supporting both legacy USB-A cables and modern USB-C fast-charge devices.

Designed for residential kitchens, living rooms, home offices and hospitality installations where a minimal surface projection is required, the flat plate construction removes the visible bulk of traditional cover plates. The single-pole switching isolates the live line when the socket is switched off, and each 13A outlet handles standard UK appliance loads up to 2,990W. The socket fits a 25-35mm back box depth depending on wiring conditions, making it compatible with both standard and shallow-depth back boxes.
