Description

The Knightsbridge CL9BCW is a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with twin earth terminals, fitted behind a brushed chrome rounded edge plate with a white insert. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances. The twin earth terminals support high-integrity earthing requirements in installations where additional earth bonding is specified.

Designed for residential, hospitality and commercial installation, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth. The rounded edge design incorporates a built-in gasket that sits flush against the wall surface, giving a softer profile than sharp-edged plates. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet. Both gangs are independently switched, allowing selective power control without isolating both outlets.

The brushed chrome finish provides a cool metallic accent that pairs well with modern, transitional and contemporary interiors. The white insert behind the chrome faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and gives a defined edge to each outlet aperture.
