The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket adds one USB-A port (18W) and one USB-C port (up to 45W) behind a matt black screwless faceplate with a black insert. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances. Both USB ports support fast-charge protocols (PD and QC), with adaptive voltage delivery that adjusts output based on the connected device.

Designed for residential, hospitality and office installation, the socket fits a standard 25-35mm back box depth depending on wiring conditions and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet. When both USB ports are in use simultaneously, the USB-C delivers 27W and the USB-A delivers 18W, totalling 45W of charging capacity.
