The Knightsbridge SFR192RMBB combines a 13A 2-gang double-pole switched socket with a 2-gang modular combination plate behind a single matt black screwless faceplate with a black insert. The modular section accepts two euro-format inserts (sold separately) for telecoms, networking, HDMI, USB charging or other low-voltage connections, consolidating power and data into a single wall aperture.

Designed for home offices, media walls, kitchen islands and anywhere that needs both mains power and data connectivity without running multiple back boxes, the combination plate fits a standard 35mm minimum back box depth. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate steel sub-frame, leaving no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed. The 13A rating per outlet handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W, while the double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when switched off.

The matt black finish provides a low-reflectivity surface that suits contemporary, industrial and minimal interiors. The black insert behind the faceplate conceals the back of the cover plate and gives a defined edge to each outlet and modular aperture. The 235mm width occupies the same footprint as a standard double back box, making it compatible with existing twin-socket wall cut-outs during renovation or retrofit.

What modular inserts does it accept?

The 2-gang modular section accepts any standard euro-format inserts, including RJ45 cat5e/cat6 data sockets, RJ11 telephone sockets, HDMI, coaxial TV, USB charging modules and blank plates. Inserts are sold separately and clip into the faceplate apertures without tools.

What back box depth is required?

A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation. The screwless cover plate adds 4.5mm of projection from the wall once fitted, with the recessed depth of the plate requiring 21.2mm clearance behind the faceplate.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate steel sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the socket and re-clipped without re-wiring or disturbing the modular inserts.

Can the modular inserts be changed later?

Yes. The euro-format inserts are user-replaceable and clip in and out of the faceplate apertures. This allows telecoms and data connections to be updated as standards change without replacing the entire combination plate or re-wiring the back box.
