Description
The Knightsbridge SFR192RMW combines a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with a 2-gang modular aperture on a single matt white screwless faceplate. The socket occupies the right-hand side of the plate, while the left-hand side accepts two standard Euro module inserts for AV, data or telecom connections.
Designed for AV installations in living rooms, bedrooms and offices where power and signal connections need to sit side-by-side, the combination plate eliminates the need for separate socket and data faceplates. The modular slots accept standard Euro inserts for satellite F-connectors, TV/DAB aerial coax, RJ45 Ethernet, HDMI, or telephone sockets (modules sold separately). The 35mm minimum back box depth accommodates the socket terminals and the rear of the modular frame in a standard twin-gang mounting box.
The matt white finish provides a low-sheen surface that minimises fingerprints and glare compared to gloss white plates, and pairs with white or off-white wall colours in contemporary and minimalist interiors. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed. The white insert behind the faceplate gives a monochrome appearance across the socket outlets and modular apertures.

Frequently Asked
What modular inserts does this accept?
The 2-gang modular section accepts two standard Euro module inserts (50mm × 25mm aperture each). Common inserts include satellite F-connector, TV/DAB aerial coax, RJ45 Ethernet, HDMI, USB charging modules, and RJ11 telephone sockets. Modules are sold separately.
What back box depth is required?
A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed to accommodate both the socket terminals and the modular frame rear. A standard twin-gang 35mm metal back box is suitable.
Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?
Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the plate and re-clipped without re-wiring the socket or modules.
Can I use this without modular inserts?
The modular apertures are open slots — if no inserts are fitted, the apertures remain visible. Blank inserts are available separately if you want to fill unused slots for a cleaner appearance.
