Description
The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP socket with 2-gang modular combination plate combines standard power outlets with two modular apertures on a single brushed chrome screwless faceplate. The modular apertures accept standard 25x50mm euro inserts for satellite TV, telecoms, HDMI, USB charging or data connections, allowing the plate to be configured to the specific needs of the installation site.
Designed for media walls, home offices and residential installations where power and signal distribution need to be consolidated in one location, the combination plate reduces the number of separate faceplates needed on a wall. The 13A double-pole socket sits on the right side of the plate, with the two modular apertures occupying the left side. Twin earth terminals provide earthing for both the socket and any modular inserts that require it.
The brushed chrome finish on the screwless faceplate provides a contemporary metallic accent with a low-reflectance surface that pairs well with modern interiors, glass, and stainless steel appliances. The grey insert behind the faceplate provides visual definition around each outlet and modular aperture. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings once installed. A 35mm minimum back box depth is required to accommodate both the socket mechanism and the modular insert mounting frame.

Frequently Asked
What modular inserts are compatible?
The two modular apertures accept standard 25x50mm euro inserts. Knightsbridge produces a range of modular inserts for satellite TV, HDMI, Cat6 data, USB charging, and telecoms connections. Inserts are sold separately and clip into the apertures from the front once the faceplate is installed.
What back box depth is required?
A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed to accommodate both the socket mechanism and the modular insert mounting frame. The screwless cover adds approximately 4.5mm of projection from the wall once fitted.
Are the modular apertures supplied empty?
Yes. The combination plate is supplied with blank inserts covering the two modular apertures. You configure the apertures by purchasing the specific modular inserts you need and swapping them in place of the blanks.
Can the screwless plate be removed for redecorating?
Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the socket and re-clipped without re-wiring.
