Description

The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang DP switched socket features a polished chrome flat plate with a black insert, projecting just 2.5mm from the wall once installed. The flat plate design uses premium-grade steel pressed into a single 87.5mm square faceplate with rounded corners, creating an ultra-low profile that sits almost flush with the wall surface.

Designed for residential and commercial installation, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a gasket seal between the plate and the wall to prevent gaps. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances. The matching metal rocker switch sits within the chrome faceplate rather than behind it, maintaining the flat aesthetic.

The polished chrome finish provides a mirror-like reflective surface that catches and redirects light, adding brightness to hallways, kitchens and living spaces. The black insert behind the chrome plate hides the back of the faceplate and provides contrast around the outlet aperture. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 2,990W.
