Description

The Knightsbridge 10AX 4-gang 2-way switch provides four independent lighting circuits behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with matching metal rockers. Each gang is rated at 10AX (2,300W at 230V), making it suitable for standard domestic lighting loads including multiple LED downlights, fluorescent fittings and halogen circuits. The 2-way switching configuration allows each circuit to be controlled from two locations, such as opposite ends of a hallway or top and bottom of a staircase.

Designed for living rooms, open-plan kitchen-diners, hallways and master bedrooms where multiple lighting zones need independent control, the switch consolidates four circuits into a single 147.5mm-wide plate. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed. A 16mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation. The 4.3mm projection of the screwless faceplate adds minimal protrusion from the wall once fitted.

What does 2-way switching mean?

2-way switching allows each of the four lighting circuits to be controlled from two separate switch locations. This is commonly used in hallways, staircases and rooms with two entrances, where you want to turn lights on or off from either end.

Can the screwless plate be removed for redecorating?
