Description

The Knightsbridge 10AX 3-gang 2-way switch features three independent rocker switches rated at 10A each, housed in an 87.5mm square polished chrome faceplate with a 2.5mm ultra-flat profile. Each gang can control a separate lighting circuit, with 2-way wiring capability allowing control from two different locations per circuit.

Designed for residential and commercial installation, the switch fits a minimum 16mm back box depth and uses premium-grade steel construction with a built-in gasket that seals against dust ingress. The polished chrome finish provides a reflective metallic surface that pairs with modern, contemporary and industrial interiors, while the matching metal rockers maintain a consistent appearance across the faceplate.

What does 2-way switching mean?

2-way switching allows each of the three lighting circuits to be controlled from two different wall locations. This requires a second 2-way switch wired in parallel on each circuit you want to control from multiple points, such as a landing light controlled from both upstairs and downstairs.

What back box depth is required?

A minimum 16mm back box depth is needed. This shallow requirement makes the switch compatible with stud walls and plasterboard installations where a standard 25mm or 35mm metal back box may not fit.

Can this switch be used in a bathroom?
