Description

We stock this 100W LED driver as the power supply behind LED strip, modules and other loads up to 100W total draw. It sits in a black powder-coated aluminium case and takes a wide 180-265V AC mains input, converting it to low-voltage DC output. The wide input range copes with the voltage fluctuations common in older buildings and works off a UK supply without any manual switching.

The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes, so as well as ceiling voids, wall cavities and under-cabinet runs it can go in damp spots including covered outdoor areas. The aluminium housing doubles as a heat sink along its full length, and the textured black powder coat resists scratches during fitting and keeps the unit discreet where it is surface-mounted in exposed industrial or retail schemes.

It is a non-dimmable driver, so it should not be wired to a wall dimmer or a control system that expects a dimming response. Match it to a constant voltage LED load within its 100W rating. The driver runs silently with no audible hum at full load.
