Description
The Knightsbridge 1-gang modular faceplate accepts a single 25x50mm euro module behind an 86x86mm white thermoset resin plate. The faceplate projects 7mm from the wall once fitted, with contoured edges that sit flush to the wall surface and screw cap covers included to hide the fixing points.
Designed for custom AV, data and USB installations in residential and commercial settings, the modular format allows you to select the exact insert type needed — HDMI, USB, TV/SAT co-axial, RJ45 data, or any other 25x50mm euro module format. The faceplate fits a standard UK 1-gang back box and pairs with Knightsbridge's range of euro modules sold separately, giving flexibility to build bespoke connectivity points without needing pre-configured multi-port plates.
The white thermoset resin construction carries an anti-microbial finish tested to ISO 22196:2011, reducing bacterial presence on high-touch surfaces in kitchens, bathrooms, care homes and medical environments. The IP20 rating confirms protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but no water ingress protection, so the faceplate is suitable for dry indoor locations only. Knightsbridge backs this faceplate with a 25-year warranty.

Frequently Asked
What euro modules does this faceplate accept?
The faceplate accepts any single 25x50mm euro module format, including HDMI, USB, TV/SAT co-axial, RJ45 data, 3.5mm audio, and Keystone inserts. Modules are sold separately and clip into the aperture from the front.
What back box depth is required?
A standard UK 1-gang back box with a minimum 25mm depth is required. The faceplate adds 7mm of projection from the wall surface once installed.
Is the anti-microbial finish permanent?
The anti-microbial properties are embedded in the thermoset resin during manufacture and tested to ISO 22196:2011. The finish does not wear off with cleaning or general use over the 25-year warranty period.
Can this be used in bathrooms?
The IP20 rating provides no protection against water ingress, so the faceplate is not suitable for wet zones in bathrooms. It can be used in dry areas of bathrooms outside zones 0, 1 and 2 as defined by BS 7671 wiring regulations.
