Description

The Zero Round Vertical canopy is the ceiling plate that powers a group of up to three Zero Round Vertical pendants from a single point. It is a round disc in a Brushed Bronze finish, 39.5cm across and just 3.8cm deep, so it sits slim and close to the ceiling. Inside are three built-in 60W drivers with a 24V DC output, so the pendants are fed at 24V DC rather than mains voltage. The canopy gives no light of its own: all the light comes from the pendants hung from it.

It belongs to the Zero range, and it is the part that turns separate Zero Round Vertical pendants into one grouped arrangement over a dining table or across an open living space. You will need up to three Zero Round Vertical pendants to hang from it, each sold separately, and the canopy only does its job with them in place. Its three outlets each carry a pair of suspension points on the underside, spread across the disc so the pendants hang apart rather than in a single line. The drivers are DALI or push dimmable, so the pendants can be dimmed from a DALI control system or a push-button switch.

The canopy runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician. Its Brushed Bronze finish has a fine circular grain across the face, and small fixing screws sit at the rim so the edge stays clean. Because it is only 3.8cm deep, it reads as a slim disc rather than a bulky box, even with three pendants beneath it. The practical point is simple: choose your pendants at the same time as the canopy, so your electrician can fit the whole arrangement in one visit.
