Description

This is the ceiling canopy for the Zero Round Vertical pendant: a round, flat disc that fixes to the ceiling and carries the suspension for one pendant, which is sold separately. It is 20.6cm across and 4.1cm high, so it sits neatly against the ceiling. The canopy gives no light of its own. Inside is a built-in 60W driver that runs on 230V mains and feeds the pendant at 24V DC, and it is DALI or push dimmable. It comes in White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass or Brushed Titanium.

It belongs to the Zero range and is made for one Zero Round Vertical pendant, which hangs from its single outlet. Because the driver is built into the canopy, the pendant takes its 24V DC supply straight from it, so you need no separate power supply for the pendant. Dimming is by DALI or push, so you can dim the pendant from compatible DALI controls or from a push switch. The canopy has no IP rating, so it is for dry indoor rooms only. White sits quietly against a pale ceiling, while Black or one of the brushed finishes makes more of a feature of the fitting overhead.

The canopy is a simple round disc with its driver built in, so there is no separate driver to find room for in the ceiling. It runs on 230V mains and is for a qualified electrician to wire in. All six finishes share the same size, 20.6cm across and 4.1cm high, so you can choose by colour alone. Order it alongside the Zero Round Vertical pendant it is made for, as the canopy on its own gives no light. Our photographs show the white version.
