Description

The Zero Round is a slim LED ring light for a ceiling or a wall. It is a single clean circle, 50cm across and just 3cm high, that sits close to the surface it is fixed to. Its light comes from an integrated LED running around the inside of the ring, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It washes a soft glow over the surface behind as well as into the room. It draws 29W and gives 2039 lumens. We offer it in six finishes: White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium. It also comes in a choice of 2700K or 3000K light.

Because it fits on a ceiling or on a wall, the ring works in many places around the home. On a ceiling it makes a calm, even main light for a living room, dining room, bedroom or hallway. On a wall it reads as a bright circle, and a pair either side of a doorway or along a landing looks well balanced. It also suits a home office or study. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The 2700K version gives a warmer, cosier light for evenings, while the 3000K version is a touch crisper for studies and working spaces.

With a colour rendering index of 90, it shows colours and fabrics close to how they look in daylight. It dims by DALI or by push control, so it can join a DALI lighting system or be dimmed from a push switch. Each finish sits with a different scheme. White disappears against a pale ceiling and Black gives a crisp outline, while the Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium finishes bring warmth or a cool sheen. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician, so it is worth settling where it goes before they visit. Our photographs show the white version.
