Description

This is the Zero Round ceiling canopy from our Zero range: a round ceiling fitting that holds and powers up to four pendants. It gives no light of its own. Inside sit four built-in drivers of 60W each, which feed the pendants hung from it at 24V DC, so the canopy is the power source for the whole group. It is a slim disc, 32.5cm across and just 3.8cm tall, so it sits close to the ceiling and leaves the attention on the pendants. We offer it in six finishes, White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium, so you can match it to your pendants or to the ceiling itself.

It needs up to four Zero Round, Zero Square or Zero Ellipse pendants to hang from it, each sold separately, and they give all of the light; without them the canopy does nothing. Because its drivers are built in, the canopy supplies the power for every pendant it carries. Hanging a group of pendants from one canopy suits a dining table, a hallway, an open living space or an office, where several lights hung together form one composed arrangement rather than a scatter of separate ceiling points. It is made for indoor use.

The canopy runs on 230V mains and is wired in by an electrician, so have a qualified electrician fit it to the ceiling. Dimming is by DALI or push control: the built-in drivers can be dimmed through a DALI lighting system or from a push switch, which sets the brightness of the pendants. When you plan the arrangement, choose the pendants and the finish together, and allow for the full 32.5cm width of the canopy so it sits centrally over the table or seating it serves.
