The Zero Round 2 Pendant Ceiling Canopy is the round ceiling plate that holds and powers two pendants from our Zero range. It gives no light of its own. Inside it are two built-in drivers of 60W each, which feed the pendants hung from it at 24V DC, so the power for both lights sits neatly in the canopy itself. It is a slim disc, 32.5cm across and just 3.8cm deep, with two cable outlets on its underside, one for each pendant. We offer it in six finishes: White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium.

The canopy is one part of a Zero ceiling arrangement, and it needs pendants to do its job. Up to two Zero Round, Zero Square or Zero Ellipse pendants hang from it, each sold separately: they give the light, and the canopy feeds them at 24V DC. Choose the pendant shape that suits the room and hang two over a dining table, a desk in a study, a hallway or the seating area of a living room. It is made for indoor ceilings, where one round plate tidies away the connections for both pendants.

The canopy runs on 230V mains power and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. Its drivers are dimmable by DALI or push, so the pendants hung from it can be dimmed with a compatible dimmer or control, which suits a room used for both bright work and quiet evenings. The finish is the one decision to make alongside the pendants: White sits quietly against a white ceiling, Black gives a crisp outline, and Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium each bring a soft metal tone. As a practical note, order the pendants at the same time, since the canopy gives no light on its own. Our photographs show the white version.
