Description

The Zero Line is a slim linear LED light for a wall or a ceiling: a plain rectangular bar 52cm long, 7.5cm across and 3cm tall. Its light sits in a recess along one long side, so the bar itself stays crisp while a soft band of light spreads across the surface around it. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or change: it draws 12.2W and gives 640 or 786 lumens by version, at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90 so wood, fabric and skin tones look true. We offer it in six finishes: White, Black, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass, Gold Leaf and Chrome.

It fits on a ceiling or on a wall, which makes it an easy light to plan around. Above a bed or along a bedroom wall it gives a calm, warm glow for winding down; in a dining room it can run along the wall over a sideboard or across the ceiling above the table; in a living room, a pair either side of a chimney breast or a single bar over shelving lights the wall with a soft wash. The fitting is not dimmable, so put it on a standard switch rather than a dimmer. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The finish is the main choice to make. White and Black sit quietly against a painted wall, Chrome gives a bright, reflective line, and Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Gold Leaf bring a warmer tone that suits darker walls, timber and stone. Whichever you pick, the shape stays the same: a clean, squared profile with the light set back into its recess.
