Description
The Zantari is a 420mm tall alabaster wall light with a pill-shaped profile, cut from natural Spanish alabaster and wrapped at the midpoint by a slim matt black metal band. An integrated 18W LED behind the stone delivers warm 3000K light that washes evenly upwards and downwards through the alabaster, turning the full length of the fitting into a soft, illuminated panel.
At 140mm wide with a 70mm projection, the Zantari sits close to the wall and works as a vertical light source in hallways, stairwells, bedrooms either side of a bed, or flanking a bathroom mirror (subject to the bathroom zone requirements being checked, as no IP rating is specified). The slim profile means it can be installed in narrower corridors without protruding into the walking line, and the vertical orientation suits walls between 2.4m and 3m in height.
The body is built from solid copper with natural Spanish alabaster panels above and below the central band. Each alabaster section shows its own pattern of mineral veining and tonal variation, so no two Zantari lights look identical when lit. The matt black band visually splits the stone into two illuminated halves and provides a defined horizontal accent against the warm white of the alabaster, giving the fitting a graphic, architectural quality.

Frequently Asked
Does the Zantari come with a bulb?
Yes. The light source is an integrated 18W LED rated at 3000K (warm white) on 230V mains. There is no separate bulb to fit, and no replacement bulb is needed during the working life of the LED.
Can it be installed horizontally?
The Zantari is designed to mount vertically as shown, with the central matt black band running horizontally across the wall. Horizontal installation is not the intended orientation and may affect how the light spreads through the alabaster.
Does the alabaster vary between pieces?
Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a characteristic of the natural stone, not a defect, and is most visible once the LED is switched on.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
No IP rating is specified for the Zantari, so it should be treated as an indoor fitting for dry locations. We do not recommend installing it inside bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2. For zone-rated bathroom wall lights, please contact us for alternatives.
