Description

Tubino is a slim LED wall and ceiling light in a white finish: a single tube 23cm tall and 4cm across, held on a short arm from a round plate 10.4cm across, standing 15cm out from the wall or ceiling. The light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 6.5W and gives 339 lumens, with a CRI of 90, so colours, skin tones and fabrics look true under it. We sell it in two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K: the 2700K version gives a warmer, softer white, and the 3000K version a slightly crisper warm white.

Because it fits on a ceiling or on a wall, Tubino suits the bedroom, dining room and living room equally. In a bedroom, a pair mounted either side of the bedhead gives light at each side of the bed and leaves the bedside tables clear. In a dining room or living room, a row of them along a plain wall sets up a steady rhythm, and on a ceiling it brings the same slim form overhead where there is no wall to use. The white finish sits easily against pale paintwork. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, indoors.

The finish is a plain white, carried over the tube, the arm and the round plate alike, so the whole fitting reads as one clean line. It runs on 230V and is wired in to the mains by an electrician; it is a fitting for a qualified electrician to install. It is not dimmable, so it suits a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer. As a practical note, choose the 2700K or the 3000K version to match the other lights in the room, so the white light stays consistent from one fitting to the next.
