Tubino is a slim LED wall and ceiling light in matt black: a cylindrical head 4cm across on a fine vertical rod, held out on a short arm from a round plate 10.4cm across. It stands 23cm tall and projects 15cm from the wall or ceiling it is fixed to. The light is an integrated LED of 6.5W giving 339 lumens, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It has a CRI of 90, which means colours, skin tones and fabrics look true under it.

It comes in two versions, 2700K or 3000K: the 2700K version gives a warmer white, the 3000K version a crisper warm white, so choose the one that matches the other lights in the room. Tubino fits on a ceiling or on a wall, fixed by its round plate, and suits a bedroom, a dining room or a living room. Beside a bed it makes a neat reading light that leaves the bedside table clear; a pair either side of a headboard looks balanced. In a living room it lights a chair or picks out a corner, and in a dining room a row along a wall adds a soft glow. At 339 lumens it is a light for a particular spot rather than for a whole room.

The finish is matt black throughout, from the head and rod to the arm and plate, a quiet colour that sits well against pale or dark walls. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician. It is not dimmable, so it gives its full light whenever it is on. It is rated IP20, which means dry rooms only.
