Description

The Tubino is a slender LED table lamp in a matt black finish, standing 48cm tall on a round base 10.4cm across. A thin upright stem carries a single cylindrical head, 23cm long and 4cm across, held at an angle on a short arm, with a looped cable arcing from the top of the stem down into the head. The light is an integrated LED of 6.5W giving 339 lumens, and with a CRI of 90 it shows colours truly, which matters when the lamp lights a book or the things on a bedside table. We sell it in two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K: the 2700K version gives the warmer light, the 3000K version a crisper warm white.

Its small footprint makes it easy to place. A base only 10.4cm across sits on a bedside table or a narrow console in a living room, and the angled head sends the light down onto the surface beside it. In a bedroom we like a pair, one on each side of the bed, for reading; in a living room it suits a side table next to an armchair or a desk in a corner. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is made for use indoors.

The construction is simple: a stem, a short arm, the head and the round base, all in the same matt black, with the looped cable the one line that breaks the outline. Because the LED is integrated there is no bulb to buy or change. It runs at 230V and plugs in, so there is nothing to wire and it can move from the bedroom to the living room. It is not dimmable, so it gives its full light whenever it is on; choose the 2700K version for the softer evening glow, or the 3000K version where you want a little more clarity at a desk. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket.
