Description

The Tubino floor lamp is a tall, slender white light with two slim cylindrical heads set one above the other near the top of its stem. It stands 165cm tall on a round base 30cm across, so it takes up very little floor space for the light it gives. Both heads run on integrated LED, with 13W of LED power and a luminous flux of 678lm, and a CRI of 90 means colours look true and natural under it. We offer it in a choice of two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K: the 2700K version gives a warmer, softer white and the 3000K version a slightly crisper warm white.

This is a floor lamp for the living room. Stand it beside an armchair or at the end of a sofa, where its two heads bring light to the corner of the room without a table lamp crowding a side table. The white finish sits quietly against pale walls and lets the lamp read as a fine line rather than a bulky object. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The lamp plugs in and runs at 230V, so there is no wiring to arrange: set it where you want light and switch it on.

The finish is white throughout, from the round base up the slim stem to the two tube heads. Because the light source is integrated LED, there is no bulb to buy or change. The lamp is not dimmable: it gives its full output each time it is switched on, so choose the colour temperature that suits your room, 2700K for a cosier glow or 3000K for a fresher white. It is a Class II fitting. With a 30cm base and a height of 165cm, it fits comfortably into a corner, and we think it works best where its pair of heads can light the space just beside you. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket.
