Description

The Toy S is a long, slim LED wall light in white: a straight-edged rectangular bar 57.7cm wide and 9cm tall, with crisp corners and a clean, flat face. Its light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and with a CRI of 90 it shows the colours of a room, from paintwork to fabrics and skin tones, naturally. The white finish lets it sit quietly on a pale wall as a simple line of form, and once it is switched on it gives a long, clean line of light along the wall.

It suits the rooms where a wall light does the most work. In a living room, a pair along a long wall or either side of a chimney breast gives soft, broad light for the evening; in a dining room it lights the wall beside the table without hanging over it; and in a bedroom its slim, straight lines sit neatly above a bed or a dressing table. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. We offer it in two colour temperatures, 2700K for a warmer, cosier glow or 3000K for a slightly crisper warm white, and in two dimming versions: non-dimmable, or phase-cut dimmable for rooms where you like to lower the light.

It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in to the mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. The phase-cut dimmable version needs a compatible dimmer on its circuit, while the non-dimmable version switches on and off. Choose the colour temperature with the room in mind: 2700K sits closer to the glow of a traditional lamp and suits bedrooms and living rooms, while 3000K keeps a dining room clear and bright. Whichever version you pick, the integrated LED means there is no bulb to change, and the plain white finish works with almost any paint colour.
