Description

The To-Be is a slim linear LED pendant light: a narrow tube 65cm long and 3.2cm across, finished in Gold Leaf and hung from a fine cable on a drop of up to 200cm. The light sits in the lower end of the tube and gives 363 lumens with a CRI of 90, so food, wood and fabric keep their true colours beneath it. It draws 5.3W or 7W, depending on the version, and we offer it in 3000K or 2700K: choose 3000K for a clean warm white, or 2700K for a softer, more golden glow.

It is at home in dining rooms and living rooms. One on its own beside a sofa or over a side table adds a slim line of gold to the room, while a row of several hung over a dining table makes a clean, graphic centrepiece. The To-Be comes in two canopy versions: with its own canopy, 5.5cm across, for hanging singly, or without a canopy, for multi-pendant canopies (sold separately), so you can gather several pendants at one ceiling point. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms only.

Because the LED is built into the tube, there is no bulb to buy or fit, and the Gold Leaf finish catches the light along its full length. The To-Be is rated at 230V and is wired in to the mains by an electrician, so please have a qualified electrician install it. The 24V DC version needs one more part: a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which supplies the low voltage that version runs on, and it will not light without one. Choose your canopy version and colour temperature together, and measure the drop you want before ordering, up to a maximum of 200cm.
