Description

The Taros floor lamp brings together metal and aluminium in a matt black finish, topped with two opal diffusers. It stands 160cm tall on a slim upright, measuring 33cm wide and 23cm deep, so it takes up little floor space while giving you plenty of height for light. At 3.2kg it is easy to move and position where you need it, whether beside a sofa, a reading chair or a desk.

Light comes from an integrated 20W LED that produces around 1800 lumens across two adjustable, swivelling heads. You can aim each head separately, pointing one down for reading and the other up or across the room, and run them together or independently. The colour temperature is adjustable from a warm 3000K to a cooler 6500K, and the lamp is dimmable using either the tactile button on the fitting or the supplied remote control, so you can set the level and tone to suit the time of day.

The matt black metalwork keeps the look plain and steady, while the opal diffusers soften the output for a gentle spread of light. It suits a bedroom, living room or study, working equally well as a main light or a focused task light. This is a Class 3 fitting rated IP20, which means it is for dry indoor use only and should not be used in bathrooms or outdoors. It runs on standard UK 220-240V mains.
