Description

The Syra 60 is a large outdoor pendant light with a woven drum shade that narrows at the waist, then flares out again towards its lower rim. The shade is 61cm across and 43.5cm tall, and the fitting hangs to a maximum drop of 188.5cm on three fine wires around a central black cable. It is built from aluminium and iron, and we offer the shade in Ivory White or Brown. Inside sits an integrated LED of 24W giving 645 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, so colours and faces look natural and there is never a bulb to buy or change.

With an IP66 rating, the Syra 60 is made for outdoor use, so it suits a covered terrace, a porch, a pergola or a garden room that opens to the air. It works as well indoors, over a dining table or in a living room, where the woven shade adds a relaxed, natural texture. A single pendant can anchor a seating area on its own, while several hung in a row look good above a long table or a bar counter. The Ivory White shade reads light and airy against pale walls; the Brown shade sits comfortably with timber, stone and planting.

The design is by Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà. The Syra 60 runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician; it is a Class I fitting, so it is earthed. It comes in two versions: non-dimmable LED, for a simple on and off at the switch, or DALI, which dims through a DALI lighting control system and suits a home or venue that already has one. Measure the height of your ceiling and the space beneath it: with a 61cm shade and a drop of up to 188.5cm, it wants open headroom, ideally above a table rather than a walkway.
