Description

The Knightsbridge GDDRYSB is a smoked bronze switch cover marked 'TUMBLE DRYER' that clips onto standard Knightsbridge grid rocker switches. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the switch plate, and the marking is moulded into the ABS and steel construction so it won't wear off over time.

Designed for use in utility rooms, kitchens and laundry areas where multiple high-draw appliances are controlled from a single bank of switches, the marked cover allows instant identification of which switch controls the tumble dryer without needing to test or label each outlet manually. The cover snaps onto the existing rocker mechanism, so installation takes seconds and requires no tools or wiring changes.

The smoked bronze finish provides a darker metallic tone than polished or brushed brass, sitting between gunmetal and bronze in appearance. It pairs well with industrial and contemporary interiors where darker metal accents are used, and coordinates with other Knightsbridge grid accessories in the same finish. The IP20 rating makes this suitable for standard indoor dry locations, and the 25-year warranty covers manufacturing defects.

This cover fits all standard Knightsbridge grid rocker switches. It clips directly onto the existing rocker mechanism, replacing the unmarked cover that comes with the switch as standard.

Is the marking permanent?

Yes. The 'TUMBLE DRYER' text is moulded into the ABS construction during manufacture, so it cannot wear off, fade or be removed through normal use.

Can the cover be swapped without re-wiring?

Yes. The cover clips onto the rocker mechanism without affecting the wiring behind the switch plate. Removing and replacing the cover takes seconds and requires no tools.
