Description

The Superbold is a round LED wall and ceiling light in Textured Myrtle Blue, plain and circular in form. A white ring-shaped diffuser sits within the blue body and frames a blue centre disc, so the light comes from a broad ring rather than a single bright point. It measures 62.3cm across and 9.9cm deep, a generous size that still sits close to the surface. The light source is an integrated LED of 32W, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and it gives 2122lm or 2165lm depending on the version. With a CRI of 90, colours in the room read true under it.

We sell it in two colour temperatures, 2700K for a warmer, softer white or 3000K for a slightly crisper warm white, so you can choose the one that suits the room. It fits on a ceiling or on a wall, which makes it useful in a living room or dining room as the main light overhead, on a landing or along a hallway, or on a bedroom wall where a flat fitting keeps the space clear. Its size suits larger rooms and open spaces, offices and reception areas included. It is rated IP40, which means it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The Textured Myrtle Blue finish has a textured surface that softens the blue and gives the fitting depth against a plain ceiling or a painted wall. It is dimmable on a compatible phase-cut dimmer, so it can go from bright everyday light to a low evening glow. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. When you order, pick 2700K or 3000K: each fitting gives the one colour temperature you choose, so it is worth deciding on the feel of the room first.
