Description

Street Line is a slim linear LED track light. It is a single black bar, 67.4cm long, with a section of just 1cm by 0.7cm, and one continuous strip of light runs behind a white diffuser along its length. Its LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 7.4W and gives 429lm, with a CRI of 90, so food, fabrics and paint colours look true under it. It comes in two colour temperatures: 2700K for a warmer, softer light or 3000K for a slightly crisper white. It dims on a DALI control system.

We like it in a kitchen, laid along its track above an island or a worktop, where a clean line of light falls evenly on whatever you are preparing. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry places only. Keep it clear of the sink, the hob and anywhere it could be splashed. Street Line belongs to a 48V DC track system and needs three further parts. The Street Line 48V track it fits, sold separately, is what it sits in and draws power from. A Street Line 48V power supply for the track, also sold separately, feeds that track. A remote 48V DC driver, not included and sold separately, supplies the 48V DC the light runs on.

Street Line runs on mains power through its track, at 48V DC, and it is a Class III fitting. Its black finish reads as a dark line against pale plaster, so the eye goes to the light rather than to the fitting, and the slim section lets it sit neatly in its track. As a system fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. When you order, choose 2700K or 3000K, and plan the DALI control from the start, so it dims the way you want once it is in.
