Description

The Speers F is a slim floor lamp with two small dome-shaped heads, each on its own thin stem, rising at different heights from a round disc base. Both heads use an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. The lamp gives 1080 lumens from 14W at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so colours, fabrics and the pages of a book look true. Each head is 11cm across and 11.5cm long, small enough to keep the whole lamp light on the eye. We sell it in two finishes, Black & Copper or Black & Brass, so you can pick the one that sits best with your room.

It is at home in the living room. With one head higher and one lower, it can light a reading chair and send a second pool of light towards the corner or wall beside it, all from a single base on the floor. The narrow stems suit a smaller room where a bulky shade would crowd the space, and the flat disc base sits neatly beside a sofa, an armchair or a side table. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. It is not dimmable, so it gives its full light whenever it is on, and that warm 2700K tone suits evenings.

The design is by David Abad, who keeps the whole lamp pared back: two thin stems meet at a compact joint on the round base, with nothing extra to get in the way. Choose Black & Copper or Black & Brass to suit the other colours in your room. It runs on mains power at 230V and is a Class I fitting. With two heads on one base, a single lamp gives you light for reading and light for the room together, which saves finding floor space for two. Our photographs show the black & copper version.
