Description

This is a length of Soho Surface track, the low-voltage rail that carries power to the light fittings that sit along it. It runs at 48V DC and has a slim, square-edged profile just 2.7cm by 2.3cm in section, with an open channel running its full length and the conductors held within it. We offer it in two finishes, white or black, so the track can sit quietly against a pale surface or draw a deliberate dark line across the room. It gives no light of its own: it is the backbone of a lighting run, letting you place fittings exactly where each one is needed.

Track lighting suits rooms where the light has to follow the layout rather than a single point: over a long dining table, down a hallway, above a run of shelves, or across artwork in a study, a shop or a small gallery. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. The track is one part of a system, and it needs the rest of the Soho Surface system, each part sold separately, to work, from the fittings that give the light to the power supply that feeds the run.
