Description

The Smoke pendant light is a 50cm glass globe in Shaded Forest Green, hung from a fitting in Brushed Titanium. The glass deepens in tone towards its edges and softens towards the centre, so when it is lit the whole globe glows gently from within rather than showing a bare bright point. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives a warm white light at 2700K, the cosy tone most of us know from a traditional lamp, with a CRI of 80, which keeps colours looking natural for everyday living. The canopy is 12.8cm across, small and neat on the ceiling.

At 50cm across, this globe pendant has the presence to anchor a room on its own. Hang it over a dining table, where the warm light draws people together and the green glass gives the room a quiet focal point, or in the centre of a living room, where its soft glow suits long evenings in. It has a maximum drop of 200cm from the ceiling, worth measuring against your ceiling height and table before you choose its position. The fitting is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The fitting is finished in Brushed Titanium, a soft grey tone that sits quietly with the Shaded Forest Green glass and lets the globe take the attention. The pendant runs on 230V mains power and is wired in to the mains, so it needs a qualified electrician to install it. Because the light source is an integrated LED, there is no bulb to replace later, which keeps upkeep simple once it is in place over your table or in your living room.
