Description

The Sisal A/01 is an outdoor wall light with a brown body, a deep overhanging top and a Light Beige Fibre front with a woven texture, in the finish Brown Frontal Light Beige Fibre. Its light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 9.1W and gives 203 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, so brickwork, planting and faces keep their true colour. It is 30.5cm tall and 32cm wide, and it stands 10cm out from the wall.

Rated IP66, it is made for outdoor use and suits walls left open to the weather. Fit one beside a front door, a pair either side of a gateway or garden entrance, or several along a terrace, patio or courtyard wall where a soft glow suits better than a bright floodlight. At 203 lumens it marks a path, a step or a doorway and gives a seating area a gentle evening light, rather than lighting a whole garden. It looks at home on white render, painted brick and old stone alike, and the fibre front keeps its texture by day as well as after dark.

It is made from aluminium, polycarbonate, stainless steel and synthetic fibre. It is a Class I fitting running at 230V, so it connects to an earth, and it is wired in to the mains by an electrician. It is dimmable on a TRIAC circuit with a compatible dimmer, which lets you bring the light down for a quieter evening outside. Before you order, plan its position with your electrician, allow for the 10cm it stands out from the wall, and if you want to dim it, make sure a compatible dimmer is part of the job.
