The Sisal A/01 is an outdoor wall light with a woven fibre front panel set in a slim square frame, beneath a deep hood that runs across the top. It comes in the Brown Frontal Brown Fibre finish with a Brown Fibre Frontal shade, so frame and panel share one warm, earthy brown. It is 30.5cm tall and 32cm wide, and it stands 10cm out from the wall, so it sits close and tidy beside a door or along a wall. The light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: 9.1W giving 203 lumens of warm 2700K light, with a CRI of 90 that keeps planting and faces looking true after dark.

Rated IP66, it is made for outdoor use and can stay out in the weather all year, so it suits a front door, a porch, a garden wall, a patio or the pillars either side of a drive. At 203 lumens it gives a soft, welcoming glow rather than a floodlight, the kind of light that quietly marks an entrance or a step. Fit a pair either side of a gate, or a row along a terrace wall, for a calm, even run of light. It is TRIAC dimmable, so on a compatible dimmer you can turn it down for quiet evenings.

It is made from aluminium, polycarbonate, stainless steel and synthetic fibre, and the woven panel brings a soft texture that sits well against white render, painted brick or timber. The hood and frame are cleanly squared off, so it looks as tidy by day as it does lit at night. It runs on 230V mains and is a Class I fitting, wired in by a qualified electrician, and it needs no extra parts beyond a compatible dimmer if you want to dim it.
