Description
The Sirio is a low outdoor bollard built from a powder-painted aluminium body, standing 300mm tall on a 100mm by 160mm base. A sandblasted tempered glass diffuser sits at the top and softens the lamp behind it, so the light comes down as an even pool rather than a hard beam and lays close around the post. Lit, it marks the edge of a path, a step or a border with a soft ring at ground level; unlit, the anthracite body reads as a small, quiet upright in the garden.
It takes a single GX53 lamp, which is not included, so the tone and brightness are yours to set: fit a warm 3000K lamp for a soft evening pool, or a cooler, brighter lamp where more light is wanted along a route. The sandblasted glass hides the lamp and spreads the light evenly with no glare spot, and the emission is aimed straight down, which suits a spot you walk past close to. It is not dimmable at the fitting, though a dimmable GX53 lamp on a compatible dimmer brings the level down.
The body is powder-painted aluminium in anthracite with a sandblasted tempered glass diffuser, wired to insulation class I and rated IP65 against dust and driven rain, so it is made to stand out through the seasons. We supply the bollard ready to site and wire off the 220 to 240 volt mains; a GX53 lamp up to 9W is added separately to light it, with a warm 4000K CRI80 lamp recommended.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Sirio give?
A soft downward pool. The sandblasted glass diffuser spreads the lamp evenly and aims the light straight down, so it marks and lights a path edge or step rather than throwing a beam, with no bright glare spot. The tone depends on the GX53 lamp you fit.
Is a bulb included, and which one does it take?
No bulb is included. It takes one GX53 lamp up to 9W, so you add the light source to suit the setting; the maker recommends a 9W 4000K CRI80 lamp. A warmer 3000K lamp gives a softer pool, a cooler lamp a brighter route.
Can it be used outdoors, and can it be dimmed?
Yes, it is rated IP65 against dust and driven rain and built from powder-painted aluminium, so it suits a garden, path or border. It is not dimmable at the fitting, but a dimmable GX53 lamp on a compatible dimmer will bring the level down.
How big is it and where does it suit?
It is a low bollard 300mm tall on a 100mm by 160mm base, so it reads as a small ground marker rather than a tall post. That height suits edging a path, a step or a border at ground level, laying overlapping pools when several are run in a line.
