Description
The Knightsbridge TRKPF1W is a single-circuit in-line power feed connector for track lighting systems, providing the mains connection point between a ceiling rose and the track itself. The connector clips into a compatible track rail and accepts 230V 50Hz mains input from standard UK wiring, feeding power along the entire track length to any spotlights or pendants mounted on it.
Designed for use with Knightsbridge's TRKSPxx series track lighting systems, the power feed sits flush within the track profile and acts as the starting point for a track run. In most installations, the power feed is positioned where the track meets the ceiling rose, allowing the track to extend from that point in one or both directions. The white polycarbonate housing matches the standard white track finish, maintaining a cohesive appearance along the rail.
The connector measures 107mm in length, 35mm in width and projects 18mm from the track surface when installed. The polycarbonate and copper construction carries an IP20 rating, suitable for dry interior locations such as kitchens, living rooms, retail spaces and offices. The Class I electrical classification requires an earth connection during installation, which is standard practice for mains-fed track systems.

Frequently Asked
What track systems is this compatible with?
The TRKPF1W is compatible with Knightsbridge's TRKSPxx series single-circuit track lighting systems. It will not fit other manufacturers' tracks or Knightsbridge's three-circuit track systems without checking compatibility first.
Can multiple power feeds be used on one track run?
Typically, a single track run uses one power feed connector positioned at the mains connection point. Additional power feeds are not usually required unless the track is being fed from both ends or forming a complex multi-directional layout.
Does this require an earth connection?
Yes. The Class I electrical classification means an earth connection is required during installation. This is standard for mains-fed track systems and must be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with UK wiring regulations.
Can this be used in bathrooms or outdoors?
No. The IP20 rating means the connector is suitable for dry interior locations only. It is not rated for use in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor installations where moisture is present.
