Description
The Knightsbridge TRKPF1S is a single circuit in-line power feed connector for track lighting systems, finished in satin nickel. It connects mains power to the track rail, allowing track spotlights or pendant adaptors to draw electricity from any point along the track run. The feed unit measures 107mm long by 35mm wide with an 18mm projection from the track surface.
Designed for compatibility with the Knightsbridge TRKSPxx series of single circuit track lighting, the power feed installs at any point along the track where mains power entry is needed. In most installations the feed is positioned at one end of the track run, close to a ceiling rose or junction box, but multiple feeds can be used on longer track runs to spread electrical load across different circuits.
The housing is constructed from polycarbonate with copper internal conductors, rated for 230V 50Hz mains input. The satin nickel finish on the outer casing matches the finish of the track rail and spotlight heads in the TRKSPxx range, creating a cohesive appearance across the lighting system. The IP20 rating suits dry interior environments including living rooms, kitchens, retail spaces and galleries where track lighting is used for accent, display or general ambient lighting.

Frequently Asked
Which track systems is this power feed compatible with?
The TRKPF1S is designed for use with Knightsbridge's TRKSPxx series single circuit track lighting systems. It will not fit other manufacturers' track systems or Knightsbridge's three-circuit track ranges.
Where should the power feed be positioned on the track?
Most installations position the feed at one end of the track run, close to the ceiling rose or junction box where mains power enters. On longer track runs exceeding 2-3 metres with multiple spotlights, a second feed can be added mid-run to balance electrical load across two circuits.
Does the power feed need to be installed by an electrician?
Yes. The power feed connects directly to 230V mains wiring and must be installed by a qualified electrician in compliance with current UK wiring regulations. The Class I rating requires an earth connection.
Can this be used in bathrooms or outdoor locations?
No. The IP20 rating is suitable only for dry interior environments. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher, and outdoor installations require IP65 or higher. This power feed is intended for living rooms, kitchens, hallways, retail spaces and galleries.
