Description

The Knightsbridge 6-gang grid faceplate provides a polished chrome screwless cover for modular grid installations, measuring 148mm square with a 3.5mm projection from the wall. The faceplate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame (GDS003F, sold separately) which holds the grid modules behind, giving a flush finish with no visible screws or fixings once installed.

Designed for use with Knightsbridge's screwless grid system, the faceplate accommodates up to six individual grid modules in a 2x3 configuration — mix switches, sockets, data ports, TV/satellite outlets or blanks to build a custom wall plate that fits the exact requirements of the room. Common applications include home offices where power, USB, HDMI and ethernet are needed at a single location, media walls behind TVs, and kitchens where multiple appliances require dedicated switching.

The polished chrome finish is applied to premium-grade steel, giving a bright reflective surface that pairs well with modern chrome taps, handles and other metallic fittings in kitchens and bathrooms. The IP20 rating limits use to dry internal locations. What grid modules does this faceplate accept?

The faceplate accepts up to six Knightsbridge screwless grid modules in a 2x3 configuration. Grid modules include switches, sockets, USB ports, data outlets, TV/satellite connectors and blanks. All modules are sold separately and clip into a metal sub-frame (GDS003F) behind the faceplate.

Is the sub-frame included?

No. This is the faceplate only. You need one GDS003F metal sub-frame (sold separately) to hold the grid modules, plus the individual modules themselves. The faceplate clips onto the sub-frame once the modules are installed.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating limits use to dry internal locations outside bathroom zones. For bathrooms, look for grid faceplates with IP44 or higher ratings suitable for splashproof installations.
