This Knightsbridge 3-gang screwless grid faceplate provides a polished chrome cover plate for modular grid switch installations, measuring 148mm wide by 88mm high with a 3.5mm projection from the wall once fitted. The faceplate is made from premium-grade steel with a mirror-polished chrome finish and clips onto a separate grid frame (GDS002F, sold separately) to create a screwless installation with no visible fixings.

Designed for use in residential, commercial and hospitality settings where modular grid switching is specified, the faceplate coordinates with Knightsbridge's screwless switches and sockets range. The grid system allows multiple switch modules, dimmer modules, data outlets and other grid accessories to be combined in a single faceplate, with the screwless cover plate concealing the mounting frame beneath. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor locations.

The polished chrome finish provides a high-reflectivity metallic surface that pairs with contemporary, classical and transitional interiors. The faceplate requires one GDS002F grid frame beneath it to mount the modular grid components — the frame is fixed to the wall box, then the grid modules clip into the frame, and finally this screwless cover plate clips over the assembly to hide all fixings. The 25-year warranty covers manufacturing defects and finish degradation under normal indoor use.

What components are needed to complete the installation?

This faceplate requires one GDS002F grid frame (sold separately), which mounts to the wall box and holds the modular grid components. The grid modules (switches, dimmers, sockets, data outlets) clip into the frame, then this screwless cover plate clips over the assembly to conceal all fixings.

How does the screwless fitting work?

The faceplate clips onto the grid frame beneath using spring clips built into the rear of the plate. To remove the faceplate for redecorating or module changes, gently prise it away from the frame at the edges. No screws are visible on the finished installation.
