Description

The Roma table lamp is a tall, round lamp: white panels set inside a cage of slim vertical bars in a Brushed Bronze finish, with a scalloped, star-shaped top and a round scalloped base. It stands 63cm tall and 32cm across, so it holds its own on a sideboard, a console or a broad bedside table. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 39W and gives 2790 lumens of warm 2700K light, shining out through the white panels between the bars.

We think it is most at home in a living room or a bedroom. In a living room it suits a sideboard, a console or a side table by the sofa, and at 2790 lumens it gives a good deal of light for a table lamp, enough to fill a corner of the room as well as set a mood. In a bedroom it sits well on a wide bedside table or a dressing table. It is push dimmable, so you can bring the light down for a quieter evening. It plugs in, so there is nothing to wire in. It is rated IP20, which makes it a lamp for dry rooms indoors.

The bars, top and base carry a Brushed Bronze finish, a warm, low-sheen bronze with a fine brushed grain, and the white panels sit between the bars all the way round, so the lamp looks the same from every side. The LED has a colour rendering index of 90, so wood, fabric and skin tones look natural under it rather than flat. It runs on 230V. Because the light source is integrated, there is no spare bulb to keep in a drawer: place it near a socket, plug it in and it is ready to use. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket.
