Description

The Roda PF/200 is a ribbon LED wall and ceiling light on a grand scale: a ring 200cm across, wrapped in a pleated translucent ribbon around a dark inner ring. It comes in two shades, White Translucent Ribbon or Cream Translucent Ribbon, and both soften the light into a gentle, warm glow. The integrated LED runs at 73.2W and gives 1053 or 1070 lumens depending on the version, at 2700K with a CRI of 90, so colours and skin tones look natural and there is never a bulb to change. It has a projection of 9.5cm or 18cm, which keeps it close to the ceiling or wall for all its size.

Because it fits on a ceiling or on a wall, the Roda PF/200 suits rooms with the height or breadth to carry a ring 200cm across: a double-height living room, a wide stairwell, a dining room with a long table, a hotel lobby or a restaurant. On a wall it reads as a great circle of soft light; on a ceiling it gives warm 2700K light from above. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only. It is dimmable, and it comes in two dimming versions, one of them DALI, so choose the version that matches the controls in your home or building and pair it with a compatible dimmer or controller.

It is built from aluminium and steel, with its translucent ribbon shade, and it is a Class I fitting running on 230V mains. It is wired in to the mains and is for a qualified electrician to install, so plan its position and the supply early. Choose White Translucent Ribbon for a crisp, bright ring against pale walls, or Cream Translucent Ribbon for a softer, warmer tone, and settle the dimming version at the same time so the fitting suits your controls from the first evening.
