Description

The Rendez-vous ceiling canopy carries a group of pendants from one point on the ceiling. It is a flat round disc, 27.5cm across and just 3.7cm deep, with a faceted housing set behind it, so very little shows between the ceiling and the pendants. It gives no light of its own. Inside sits a built-in 60W driver that feeds up to 8 pendants at 24V DC, each pendant sold separately. The canopy itself runs on 230V mains, and the driver is DALI or push dimmable, so the pendants dim with either method.

It belongs to the Rendez-vous range, and it is the way to hang several pendants together over a dining table, down a stairwell or across a living room, rather than fitting a separate ceiling rose for each one. One canopy, one connection to the mains, and up to 8 pendants hanging from a single neat disc. Plan the whole set before you order. Alongside the pendants you will need the accessory for hanging the electric cable, which is not included and is sold separately; it is the part the electric cable hangs from. The canopy is for dry indoor rooms.

We offer the canopy in six finishes: White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Matt Black, Brushed Bronze and Brushed Brass, so you can match it to your pendants or let it sit quietly against the ceiling. The face is a clean, unbroken circle with no screws on show. Because the driver is built in, there is no separate power supply to find room for in the ceiling. The canopy is wired in to the mains, and that is a job for a qualified electrician. Once it is up, it powers every pendant you hang from it. Our photographs show the white version.
