Description

This is a rectangular ceiling canopy that lets you hang up to six pendants from one point on the ceiling, with a 75W driver built into its housing. It is 42cm long, 25.2cm across and only 3.7cm deep, with six cable outlets set in two tidy rows of three and a housing running along one long edge. It gives no light of its own: its work is to power the pendants hung from it, feeding them at 24V DC. We offer it in White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Matt Black, Brushed Bronze or Brushed Brass, so you can match it to your pendants or let it blend into the ceiling.

The canopy is the central part of a 24V pendant arrangement, and it needs up to six pendants to hang from it, each sold separately, which it feeds at 24V DC through its built-in 75W driver. With the driver already inside, the pendants take their power straight from the canopy. A long rectangular plate like this suits a line or cluster of pendants over a long dining table, a sideboard or a reception desk, and it works well in a hallway or stairwell where you want several drops from one ceiling position. It is for indoor use.

It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. It is not dimmable, so plan for a standard on and off switch rather than a dimmer. The six finishes give you room to choose: White to sit quietly on a white ceiling, Black or Matt Black for crisp contrast, and Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze or Brushed Brass to pick up warmer tones in your pendants.
