Description

The Ralph 35 is an outdoor floor lamp with a woven drum shade, a slim pole and a round disc base. It stands 115cm tall, the shade is 35cm across and the base is 24cm across, so it lifts the light to a comfortable height while taking up very little ground. It is finished in Metallic Brown, a deep, warm tone that sits easily beside timber decking, stone paving, planting and outdoor cushions. A single bulb sits inside the shade, and the close weave gives the lamp a relaxed, textured look whether it is lit or not.

Rated IP65, it is protected against dust and jets of water, so it suits outdoor use: on a terrace or patio, beside a garden bench, or at the edge of an outdoor dining table where you want light at seated height through a long summer evening. It is just as much at home indoors, in a living room beside a sofa or a reading chair, where the woven shade brings a little of the garden inside. Its height works well beside a lounger or an armchair, and the compact base lets it tuck into a corner or between two seats without crowding them.

The slim pole and round disc base share the Metallic Brown finish, giving the lamp a neat, compact footprint on decking or a floor. It runs on mains power at 230V and is a Class II fitting, which means it is double insulated. The one thing to add is an E27 bulb, sold separately: it fits the lamp's single E27 holder and provides the light.
