Description

The Queens Three-Phase Track is a 100cm length of lighting track: the rail that carries power along a room to the Queens fittings you position on it. It gives no light of its own; its job is to let you place lights exactly where you want them along the run. The profile is square and compact, 3.6cm by 3.3cm in section, so it reads as a clean, narrow line rather than a bulky fixture. We offer it in white or black. White keeps the line quiet against pale surfaces, while black gives a crisp, graphic edge to a darker or more industrial scheme.

Track lighting suits rooms where you want to aim light at particular things: a sideboard, a dining table, a row of pictures, open shelves or a favourite reading chair. It works just as well in a hallway, a study or a shop as in a living room. Because the track is three-phase, it takes Queens fittings made for three-phase track. It needs the rest of the Queens system, each part sold separately, which supplies the lights themselves and the parts that complete and power the run; the track does not work on its own. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

Seen end on, the construction is plain to read: a square outer profile with separate conductor channels running inside it along the whole length, which is where the fittings connect. The white and the black versions share the same profile and the same section, so you can choose on colour alone and match the track to the room. Like any track system, it is for a qualified electrician to install. Before you order, measure the run you have in mind and work out how many lengths and which Queens parts you need, so your electrician has everything to hand at once.
