Description

The Ombra is a linear LED wall light, a long, slim tube 115.2cm long and 7cm across, standing 13.6cm out from the wall. A ribbed white diffuser runs almost its whole length, with Brushed Brass end caps at top and bottom and a Brushed Brass bracket that holds it to the wall. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 23W and gives 1059 lumens of warm 2700K light, with a CRI of 90, which means skin tones, wood and paint keep their true colours under it.

At this length the Ombra brings a tall line of soft light to a wall. It suits a living room where you want a warm glow beside a sofa or a chimney breast, and a dining room where it frames a sideboard or a painting without the glare of a bare bulb. In a bedroom, a pair either side of the bed gives gentle light for winding down. It is dimmable by DALI or by push dimming, so it can be set lower for the evening on a compatible DALI control or a compatible push switch. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The construction is simple and visible: one diffuser tube held by Brushed Brass caps at each end and a slim Brushed Brass bracket set to one side, so the brass reads as a fine accent against the white. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician.
