Description

The Nut B/90/2L is a two-light LED bollard light in Textured Terracotta, standing 90cm above the ground on a slim square post. Two bell-shaped heads sit on the post, one at the top and one a little lower, and together they span 30cm, each head 10cm across. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. The fitting draws 12.6W and gives 757 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, which keeps the greens of the garden and the colour of stone and brick looking true after dark.

This is a light for the garden. It is rated IP65, so it is made for outdoor use, whether among planting, at the edge of a lawn, beside a path or at the foot of a wall. At 90cm it stands at about waist height, low enough to throw light onto the ground and the leaves around it, and tall enough to mark a route through the garden at night. A few placed along a path or a border give a steady rhythm of light, and with two heads on one post, one bollard gives you two points of light. It is dimmable on TRIAC with a compatible dimmer, so you can keep it low for a quiet evening outside or bring it up when friends come round.

The bollard is made from stainless steel, aluminium and PA12, finished in Textured Terracotta, a warm earthy colour that sits well against green leaves and old stone. The design is by Estudi Manel Molina. Below the 90cm that stands above the ground there is a 12cm anchor that goes into the ground. It runs on 230V mains, wired in, and it is for a qualified electrician to install.
